Lean practice: LEARN - EXPERIENCE - REFLECT

Lean is a way of working that leads to success. It is a skill whose methods can be learned, experienced in established companies, and which makes every company more resilient in times of crisis and transformation. The ams Osram plant in Schwabmünchen is a living example of lean in action. During the training, participants learn proven methods, experience them live in the factory, and reflect on them in a feedback session. ​

Ziel des Trainings ist es, den Teilnehmern praxisnahe Methoden und Werkzeuge des Lean Managements zu vermitteln. Die Teilnehmer sollen in der Lage sein, Lean-Prinzipien in ihrem Arbeitsumfeld anzuwenden und kontinuierliche Verbesserungsprozesse Voranzutreiben.

Das Werk steht für Tradition und Moderne. Heute ist der Standort Schwabmünchen Schrittmacher in Sachen LEAN und Digitalisierung innerhalb der OSRAM Welt. Etwa 300 Mitarbeitende arbeiten hier an der Industrie 4.0 und vielen Produktinnovationen. 

Am 26.02.2025 wurden das ams OSRAM Werk SCHWABMÜNCHEN als Gewinner des Industrie 4.0 AWARDS in der Kategorie „SMART DIGITALIZATION“ von EFESO DACH (Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz) ausgezeichnet. Der Titel wird von einer unabhängig Jury vergeben. 

Congratulations to ams Osram in Schwabmünchen as winner of the Industry 4.0 Award. The plant impressively demonstrates that LEAN is the ticket to digitalization.
